The IPS Empress® technique enables us to duplicate the natural dentition of your patient. When overlaid upon the simulated dentin, the porcelain blends accurately with the natural enamel. Plus you can combine the esthetics of the IPS Empress® system with the convenience of conventional cementation with IPS Eris™.

The Right Fit
The lost wax technique allows for a restoration with optimum marginal adaptation. Unlike conventional porcelain jacket restorations that require firing a porcelain-stackable refractory die, the IPS Empress® technique means a more accurate, tighter fit.

Uncommon Strength
The IPS Empress® unit produces a very strong metal-free porcelain restoration. Through a unique injection procedure, the system achieves a smooth microscopic surface and results in increased ceramic strength. Although the IPS Empress® material is durable, it has a wear factor like that of natural dentition.
